Sho Ikushima is a Tokyo-based actor/producer/choreographer.
Sho Ikushima is a Japanese actor/producer/choreographer. He was born into an entertainment industry family. His father is a famous Japanese broadcaster, Hiroshi Ikushima, and his brother, Yûki Ikushima, is also an actor in Japan.
Sho started his career as a dancer. At 15, he moved to California to attend Idyllwild Arts Academy, where he began dancing. He wanted to be a theater major in high school but couldn’t speak English, so he became a dance major. He continued his study in dance at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and started acting with John Strasberg. His dance career took him to Europe, where he received a danceWEB Scholarship in Vienna and worked as a soloist at the State Theater Kassel in Germany under the direction of Johannes Wieland. He also choreographed a famous Japanese Kabuki actor, Kankurô Nakamura, for the Asian Games 2026 promo video at the Asian Games 2023 closing ceremony.
Sho’s talent and hard work have not gone unnoticed on the international stage. Upon his return to Japan, he embarked on a successful acting career, collaborating with esteemed directors like Yukihiko Tsutsumi, Masato Harada, Masatoshi Yamaguchi. In 2018, he made his mark in an American action crime/thriller film, Darc, portraying Shigeru Kageyama alongside Tony Schiena and Emmy Award winner,Armand Assante. He has since continued to make his presence felt in American cinema, appearing in End of Loyalty as Yukio.

Sho’s talents extend beyond acting and dancing. In 2024, he made his debut as a producer, spearheading the creation of his first feature film, Crosspoint, in collaboration with Takehiro Hira and Carlo Aquino. This achievement further solidifies his status as a multi-faceted talent in the entertainment industry.
